The administrator of your personal data is Upvanta sp.zo.o. We process your personal data in order to conduct the recruitment process to work at Upvanta sp.zo.o. for the position for which you are currently applying and optionally for future recruitment. You have the right to access your data, the right to request rectification or deletion, the right to withdraw your consent to data processing, the right to object and other rights described in the detailed information on the processing of your data. For what purpose and on what basis we process your personal data
We will process your data in order to:
- to carry out the recruitment process and possibly conclude a contract with a job candidate (basis for processing: art. 6(1)(b) RODO and art. 6(1)(a) RODO);
- fulfillment of legal obligations incumbent on Upvanta sp.zo.o. as a potential employer related to the recruitment, resulting in particular from the Labor Code and other legal acts (basis for processing: art. 6(1)(c) RODO);
- to realize the legitimate interests of Upvanta sp.zo.o. (basis for processing: art. 6(1)(f) of the DPA), i.e. for the purpose of litigation, as well as proceedings before public authorities and other proceedings, including the investigation and defense against claims.
How long we will keep your personal data
Your personal data will be processed for the duration of the recruitment, but for no longer than 12 months from the date you submit your personal data contained in the application for the position. In the event that the duration of the recruitment is shorter, your data may be stored for the above-mentioned period for the purpose of verifying the correctness of the recruitment process. If you have consented to the processing of personal data for the purposes of future recruitment, your data will be processed for the period indicated in the consent or additional information found with the consent.
Obligation to provide certain data
The necessity of providing personal data results from the provisions of Article 221 § 1 of the Labor Code. The consequence of your failure to provide the necessary personal data will be the inability to participate in the recruitment process carried out by Upvanta sp.zo.o. Provision of personal data in a broader scope than that provided by 221 § 1 of the Labor Code is voluntary.
Your rights related to the processing of personal data
You have the following rights related to the processing of your personal data:
- a) the right to access your personal data;
- b) the right to withdraw consent to the processing of your data;
- c) the right to rectify your data;
- d) the right to erasure of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”);
- e) the right to restrict the processing of your data;
- f) the right to portability of your data;
- g) the right to object to the processing of your personal data – unless the processing is related to the existence of a valid legitimate basis for the Administrator.

Who may be the recipient of your personal data?
Your personal data may be transferred to entities that process it on our behalf, including IT service providers and entities that provide human resources and payroll services on our behalf, but these entities will process data on the basis of an agreement with us and only to the extent that they are instructed to do so.
Transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”) or to international organizations
As a general rule, we do not transfer your personal data to entities outside the EEA. The exception to this is remote recruitment. If you take advantage of remote recruiting, your data may be transferred to entities that provide technical solutions for such recruiting. While such entities may be based outside the EEA, including but not limited to the US, they are still required to provide adequate guarantees of a high level of personal data protection. We would also like to point out that the transfer of data to such entities may only take place to the extent necessary to use such a tool.
Whenever your personal data is transferred to entities outside the EEA, it is on the basis of a legal instrument under the provisions of the RODO. You have the right to obtain from us a copy of the safeguards applied in connection with the transfer of your data outside the EEA.
